NRM's Station Hall major redevelopment works gets underway

THE GRADE Ⅱ-listed goods warehouse used by the National Railway Museum as its Station Hall has been closed for major redevelopment works to be carried out. The building was due to be closed from January 3, 2023, with work expeceted to be completed in about 18 months. The hall's roof will be replaced, and structural and decorative repairs will be carried out to glazing, brickwork and walls, which will be sympathetic to the building's Victorian railway heritage.
