Leicester-to-Peterborough services resume over repaired Fosters Bridge

REPAIRS TO the damaged bridge at Ketton, which caused disruption to train services operating between Leicester and Peterborough (Railways Illustrated issue 239), were completed in time to allow normal services over the route to resume on November 23. Fosters Bridge, which crosses the A6121 Stamford Road at Ketton in Rutland, was struck by a Rutland County Council refuse lorry on November 5.
