摘要

The present disclosure looks at (a) giving customers great user interface (Ul), (b) describes optimizations for their harmonious interaction within an AV, and (c) extends the AV's range-particularly when operating in extreme climates-by carefully managing climate controls. High-level goals may include providing customers with multiple mechanisms to adjust controls. This may include an app that runs on the customers device, a pcr-seat voice interface that understands that seat's "window", "light", "HVAC setting", etc., a ML system that identifies a person cramped for space, too hot, too cold, etc., where the AV can offer suggestions, e.g., "would you like me to give you more legroom?", and/or the back-end associated with the AV can keep a representation of customer preferences (HVAC, seat pose, etc.) where it can pre-configure the AV appropriately just before picking them up.
