Dillinger Hutte boosts output in 2014 but expects weak 2015

GERMAN STEEL company Dillinger Hutte raised its crude steel output to 2.35 mt in 2014, from 2.02 mt in 2013. The company is based in Saarland with fellow steel producer Saarstahl, with which it owns pig iron producer Rogesa on a 50:50 basis. It upped purchases from Rogesa to 2.02 mt last year, from 1.74 mt in 2013, while Rogesa's total pig iron output climbed to 4.38 mt from 3.95 mt over the period.
