Materials Week 2002

The European congress on advanced materials, their processes and applications, hosted in conjunction with the exhibition Materialica, is making a last call for papers. Materials Week will feature all disciplines of the materials marketplace, including fundamental approaches and, as a new feature of the congress, this year will highlight application-oriented topics in the form of a number of keynote lectures presented by highly-reputed speakers. Prospective authors are invited to submit a abstract relating to one of the topics covered by Materials Week - these are applications, fundamentals, processing and analysis and simulation. Within these four areas, topics such as automotive, aerospace, energy electronics, medical engineering, chemical engineering, metals, ceramics, polymers, composites, surface technology nanotechnology testing, materials characterisation and, modelling and simulation will be covered.
