Kinetics of small Ising systems. II. General formulation

The time dependent behavior of small Ising systems in various configurations was followed by computer solutions of the kinetic equations. The inclusion of internal interactions leads to complex departures from internal equilibrium which depend upon the initial and final conditions as well as the interaction strength. The use of periodic boundary conditions on a series of small square lattice patches indicates that increased kinetic complexity obtains in larger systems.
