OMAFRA and U of G partnership enhances fruit research

Research for Ontario's fruit industry took a giant step forward on the 1st April, when the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) Education, Research and Laboratories division was amalgamated with the University of Guelph. Under a new 54.4 dollar enhanced agreement the University now administers all provincially funded agricultural research.
