COSTS IN MAJOR DOMESTIC IRON ORE INDUSTRIES

Some geographical areas of iron ore production have domestic steelmaking industries that absorb the vast majority of production. This is particularly true for the USA, CIS and China. The SUMMARY tab in the Excel file shows the average costs of producers in the countries where domestic iron ore production is the major source for large-scale steelmaking and iron ore exports are relatively less important.
