PRICES OF IRON ORE, IRON AND STEEL

摘要

Prices of iron ore are an important factor affecting the cash costs of producing pig iron and direct reduced iron and therefore of steel. The relationship of prices of iron ore to the prices of pig iron, DRI and steel products are important for the steel industry and a guide to the future direction of iron ore prices. The table in 10-PI-STEEL in the Excel file shows the historical relationships between iron ore prices and these products.
