CAP HEALTH CHECK COULD PUT PATIENT AT RISK

Take a look at the details of the package agreed by EU farm ministers last week in Brussels and it soon becomes apparent that the CAP health check contains elements of "the good, the bad and the ugly". For, while ministers have gone some way to meeting the EU Commission's objectives - to simplify the CAP, increase market orientation and move more funds to rural development - overall it's a very mixed package.
