摘要

Selfed dry seeds (10 moisture content) of C. roseus variety Nirmal were treated with 5 and 10 kR gamma-radiation, 0.25 and 0.50 ethyl methanesulfonate (EMS) and 0.25 and 0.50 nitroso methylurea N-methyl-N-nitrosourea (NMU). M2 families were evaluated for mutagenic efficiency. Chemical mutagens were more effective in causing mutations than gamma-rays. They were most effective when used separately rather than in combination, but no definite relationship between dose and efficiency was found.
