2004 Ag Dust Explosions: NO FATALITIES AND ONLY FOUR INJURIES REPORTED IN SIX BLASTS AT U.S. FACILITIES

Four people were injured but no fatalities were reported in six agricultural dust explosions across the United States in 2004, according to an annual report released on Feb. 17. The report was released by Robert W. Shoeff, professor emeritus at Kansas State University (KSU/785-539-8891), and Mavis Rogers, with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Federal Grain Inspection Service (FGIS/ 202-720-0251).
