Greyrock Touts Lower Emissions with FT Diesel Fuel

California-based Greyrock Energy announced October 3 that dynamometer tests on a heavy-duty diesel engine burning its Fischer-Tropsch (FT) diesel showed lower emissions of carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons and particulates. “While our fuel meets ASTM diesel fuel specifications, it is important to understand how the fuel performs in today’s heavy duty diesel truck engines,” Greyrock chief technology officer Dennis Schuetzle said.
