Making waves: A new light-bending chip could turn a phone into a mini projector

Projectors have got a lot less clunky over the years but it's conceivable that we could do without them altogether and use our mobile phones instead. A new light-bending silicon chip has been developed by researchers at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) which would allow your phone to project a bright, clear image on to a wall or a big screen.
