LOST AND FOUND

At 240 metres above sea level, Haweswater is the highest lake in the Lake District National Park. It's also the most enigmatic. Some six kilometres in length, 800 metres wide and with a maximum depth of almost 60 metres, this great body of water lies in a hidden valley of the Far Eastern Fells, surrounded by a mountainous landscape of high crags, tumbling becks and treacherous bogs.
