Pittcon 2007: Exhibition with Future

The annual Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy (Pittcon 2007) takes place from 25 February - 2 March in Chicago. Co-sponsored by the Society for Analytical Chemists of Pittsburgh (SACP) and Spectroscopy Society of Pittsburgh (SSP), Pittcon will be one of the world's largest and comprehensive conference and exposition for laboratory science in 2007. It has become a premier global science event, featuring more than 2,100 scientific papers, more than 1,000 exhibitors and as many as 25,000 attendees from over 85 countries each year. Prior the event, the G.I.T. Laboratory Journal Europe talked to Beth Kirol, current Pittcon president, about this years highlights, trends and key markets.
