Sample Preparation of Biological Fluids: Protein Removal from HPLC Samples Three Times Faster

The effective removal of unwanted proteins is an essential step prior toHPLC/MS analysis of biological fluids. The following new method, in which proteins are removed from plasma, serum, whole blood or other biological fluids by means of acetonitrile precipitation and filtration by pressure, is particularly appropriate for the analytical characterization of interesting substances in drug research.
