Sample Preparation for Spectral Analysis: Grinding of Hard, Brittle and Fibrous Materials to Analytical Fineness

Vibratory Disc Mills are designed to achieve a reproducible degree of finenessrequired for spectral analyses in a short grinding time. In comparison to its predecessor, the Vibratory Disc Mill RS 200 from Retsch (fig. 1) has a much stronger motor which increases the energy input and therefore the grinding performance even further. The drive kinematics has been optimised in such a way that the grinding results, also after short grinding times, achieve a very high degree of reproducibility.
