摘要

Several types of chelating agents for radiometal ion complexes have been proposed for use as both radiotracers and in radiotherapy, and for paramagnetic metal ion complexes used as MRI contrast-enhancing agents. In the past decade, bifunctional chelating agents (BFCAs) have received increasing interest because of their important role in a successful application of bioactive molecule-based metal complexes for the forementioned purposes.
