Sonatrach awards $1.6 billion EPC contracts for Gassi Touil

Sonatrach signed four contracts in the past two weeks, totalling more than $3 billion, as part of Algeria’s investment program to spend $65 billion on energy projects in the next five years.Sonatrach signed two contracts worth $1.6 billion for engineering, procurement and construction work on the Gassi Touil gas field, and last week awarded Saipem and Petrojet contracts worth more than $1.4 billion to build a gas pipeline in the North African country.
