Chubu secures additional Australian LNG from Woodside

Chubu Electric Power has agreed to buy 1.5 mtpa of LNG over a three year period from Woodside’s Pluto LNG plant starting in April, the Australian company said on Tuesday. Woodisde CEO, Peter Coleman said: “The agreement demonstrates the importance of Pluto LNG volumes in meeting growing regional demand for natural gas and also Woodside’s increasingly diverse LNG purchasing, sales and shipping arrangements.”
