The EU has suspended plans to impose further sanctions on Russia at least until Saturday, when Kiev officials, representatives of Ukraine's Eastern regions, Russia and the EU security agency are set to meet in a bid to negotiate a new ceasefire between pro-Russian separatists and Ukraine.
