Premiered at the Geneva Auto Salon, Land Rover's LRX concept is the latest design exercise to exploit the styling and light-weighting benefits of plastics. Unusually, it was shown in two versions. The first (pictured) included a full panorama roof and side windows produced in Sabic Innovative Plastics Lexan GLX PC with an Exatec coating. The second version carried the side and rear windows in PC. Land Rover was able to reduce the weight of each by around 19kg using PC.
