Virtually invisible gating

I-Mold, based in Brensbach, Germany, has developed a series of tunnel gate inserts that the company says provide virtually invisible gating for parts weighing from 5g down to 0.1g. Manufacture of miniature components for automotive, electronics and medical applications puts heavy demands on the quality of mould components, particularly in multi-cavity tooling.
