Advanced adhesives appear in Audi A-frame

Huntsman Advanced Materials claims to have achieved an industry first with its Agomet adhesives,which eliminate screws and rivets from automotive bonding processes.The company was approached by Decoma International,a supplier of exterior vehicle appearance systems,for a new bonding system.Decoma project engineer Karl-Heinz Schneider said:"Traditional bonding methods involve the use of screws or rivets to bond exterior panels to a car's A-frame.We approached Huntsman to provide us with an alternative to the traditional methods.
