While interest in anti-microbial additives is increasing,convertrers are still working on how they can develop real applications from the technology.Chris Smith reports.Interest in anti-microbial additives continues to grow.But-as delegates at European Plastics News's Anti-microbials 2003 conference heard recently-while the basic anti-bacterial perfor-mance of many additives is clear,there is still work to be done in understanding how that performance can be exploited in real applications.
