Here are the results and lessons of the 2014 BEEF Efficiency and Profitability Contest. How did you do? In the September issue of BEEF and on beefmagazine.com, read- ers were provided with production data, pictures and videos for 12 steers, and askedto make estimates regarding their feedyard performance and carcass traits. This month, we'll reveal the results of theanimals' feed intake, performance, carcass quality and profitability, and discuss the lessons.
