Most diseases in your herd are often difficult to identify and trickier yet to treat successfully. Pinkeye, on the other hand, is not a mystery disease. It can be easy to spot and treat. Yet, each year it robs producers of up to 150 million dollar inlost gains, poor performance and treatment. Surprisingly, pinkeye regularly ranks as the No. 1 disease of breeding females in cow-calf herds, according to the National Animal Health Monitoring System (NAHMS).
