Occasionally, a reader might complain that my price projections are either loo high or too low. It seems appropriate, therefore, for me to explain my concept regarding price forecasting. A forecast of livestock prices is based upon an evaluation of the economic conditions that will likely occur in that market during the future. The analyst, subconsciously, hopes enough people in the industry will believe the forecast and make management decisions to take advantage of such.
