Polish firms take centre stage: Three of Poland's leading import-export companies will be present at Fruit Logistica 2009 where they will showcase their impressive market development to date

Prima 2000 specialises in a wide range of products, including apples, pears, plums, cherries, strawberries and cabbage. During the past 12 months, the company has installed three new packaging machines and one new sorting machine to meet growing demand from Polish supermarkets for ready-packed fruit and vegetables. According to the firm's Kryspin Woszczyk, Prima 2000 is planning a number of new developments for 2009, including the launch of two new brands for its products - Warka Garden and Prima Quality. The company will also introduce new packaging for all its products.
