Work to start on Virgin Islands biogas power plant

A new 7MW biogas power plant will be built in Saint Croix, US Virgin Islands after the project received government approval. Renewable energy development company Tibbar Energy is behind the project, which was granted final approval by the Virgin Island Department on Planning and Natural Resources' Division of Coastal Zone Management (CZM). The CMZ decision was the last step Tibbar needed in order to begin construction.
