The future looks bright for Asian biofuels and waste feed- stocks, according to a survey of more than 100 biofuels leaders conducted by World Biofuels Markets. An article on the sur- vey results by Nadim Chaudhry, CEO, Greenpower Confer- ences indicates Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) is expected by leaders to be the most promising feedstock this year, thanks in part to its low cost and recent advances in technology. Coming in at a close second are non-energy feedstocks such as jatro- pha and camelina. This year may also be the year for algae, as several commercial pilot plants come online.
