AUSTRALIA'S first integrated field-based wireless sensor network (WSN) system has been developed and commercialised. Fleck is designed to tap in to the WSN market which is forecast to grow to USD5.3bln worldwide by 2010. By integrating Fleck WSN into monitoring and control projects, the technology provides productivity gains and flexibility for a wide range of industries including agriculture, aquaculture, manufacturing, mining, construction and environmental management.
