Yokogawa has introduced version 4.0 of its automotive engine combustion analysis and test software that is designed with the company's DL750 and DL708E/716 Series of digital oscilloscopes and WE7000 Series of PC-based data-acquisition systems. New features of the software package include the ability to analyse and display multiple data simultaneously so that analysis results can be checked at the same time as online monitoring is being carried out. Another addition is a USB 1.1 realtime monitor interface for the DL750 which offers the ability to save and recall analysis conditions, and the facility for analysing additional parameters including LNV, misfire rate and cylinder-to-cylinder average value.
