THE FIRST CHEVROLET Corvette to feature a hybrid powertrain has also been spied testing at the Nurburgring in Germany. Based on the new C8-generation American sports car and set to be called the Corvette E-Ray, it is reported to combine a 6.2-litre V8 petrol engine with two electric motors - one mounted on each axle - and a small drive battery.
