Electrochemical Performance of LiFePO4 Cathode Material Coated with PbTe

摘要

LiFePO4 was surface modified with PbTe via a hydrothermal process followed by heat-treating. The LiFePO4-PbTe materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), cyclic voltammetry, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The XRD results indicate that the crystal structure of LiFePO4 does not change after surface coating. The TEM image shows a coating layer on the surface of the LiFePO4 core. Electrochemical analysis demonstrates that the discharge capacity and capacity retention behavior of LiFePO4 are remarkably improved after surface modification.
