For the most part, the transition is likely to be smooth and uncontroversial, seamless even. The outgoing leaders probably won't attempt anything controversial in order to leave their legacies intact, while the new generation will toe the line in order to stabilize their power bases — although certain reforms are likely to gain more traction under new leadership.
