STRI would like to offer its sincere thanks to Campey Turf Care Systems, County Turf, Everris, Ransomes Jacobsen, Syngenta, Golf Monthly and Greenkeeping (sponsors of 2011 Golf Environment Awards) for their continued support and assistance which has allowed STRI to continue building upon the success of this now well established and respected awards programme. What makes the Golf Environment Awards unique is the way in which a level playing field is created allowing local clubs to compete with prestigious golf clubs. It embraces links, heath and parkland courses and it delivers the underpinning message that golf has an important role to play in the conservation of our diminishing countryside.
