STRI's Environment and Golf Architecture teams have proved a winning combination for more than 15 years - project managing and assisting clients with golf course development and related planning applications throughout Europe. Where golf course planning applications are concerned, environmental impacts are of overriding importance to planning authorities and statutory consultees and as such are one of the most common stumbling blocks associated with projects of this nature. Working closely together STRI's Ecology Team and Golf Architecture Team are able to provide the best possible environmental result for site-specific golf projects by integrating the golf design process with ecological and environmental evaluations. Add to this STRI's in-house expertise of agronomy, drainage, irrigation and research and it becomes clear that our range of expertise is somewhat unique in nature.
