In such difficult times, it would be understandable if those spending money on the course kept alow profile. However, the golf course is every facility's prime asset and key source of revenue. Keeping the course in good health, whatever the size of the budget, is in the hands of skilled greenkeeping teams and those making decisions on the future financing of the course should not consider making cuts without fully appreciating the potential consequences. This is where good record keeping and a mechanism for reporting on activities that contribute towards income and expenditure come in.
