Editors' Introduction

摘要

Three of the papers printed in this issue were presented at the October 2004 Economic Policy Panel,hosted in Amsterdam by the Central Bank of the Netherlands.One was presented at the April 2005 Panel,hosted in Luxembourg by the European Investment Bank.In this introduction we place their contributions in the context of wider policy debates and scientific literatures.
