Magmatic Platinum Group Element Environments in Canada: Present and Future Exploration Target Areas. GAG Howard Street Robinson Distinguished Lecture, 2002

This CD-ROM release contains an extended version of Larry Hulbert's 2002 GAG Howard Street Robinson Lecture Tour presentation. The release includes a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation (shareware version of MS PowerPoint is included) that contains an embedded MS Word extended abstract and references list (80 references). Although the title of the CD indicates a focus on platinum group elements (PGE), the graphical material provided extends to magmatic Ni-Cu sulfide deposits. The publication is available from the GAG website and is a true bargain at a cost of only 25 dollars. I was fortunate to attend the original Robinson Lecture series at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. Although the "live" version of the lecture was more interactive than the current CD-ROM release, the MS PowerPoint presentation is a valuable, stand-alone product that is of interest to both specialists and generalists.
