Welcome to 2016 and may all of us at Lutyens House wish you a happy and prosperous new year. There can be little doubt that 2015 will be Looked back on as a milestone in terms of the legislation relating to our industry, with the revision of the CDM Regulations and the demise of the role of the CDM Co-ordinator and the introduction of new Housing Standards and a major rethink of how Planning and Building Regulations interact. We also saw the end of the Code for Sustainable Homes and the moving of the target dates for Zero Carbon; a lot happened in a very short space of time and a settling down of these new requirements is still taking place.
