SPECIAL RESOLUTION PROPOSED BY COUNCIL

摘要

To make sure that the Association is fit for purpose for the future, the Council (the Board of Directors) decided that it was time to review how the Association operated so that it could focus on its members, strategy, costs and governance. Therefore, in May 2010, Council sought advice from a specialist in governance and took part in a facilitated workshop to review the role of the Council, its Committees, Officers and the objectives of the Association. The outcome of this workshop was that the Council unanimously decided to adopt an improved approach to Governance and to streamline how the Association is run.
