KPMG: Unconventionals drove 2010 EP, MA action

Unconventional resources were the big driver of U.S. EP MA activity in 2010, continuing a three-year trend. This according to Houston-based advisory service KPMG LLP. Eloner Habtezghi, corporate finance director of KPMG LLP (U.S.), says a greater number of upstream joint ventures are getting done, allowing new players to enter the market.
