Abuqir Petroleum Co., a joint venture between Egyptian General Petroleum Corp. (EGPC) and Edison (50%), has made a discovery in the Abu Qir license after drilling the NAQ PII-2 well.Located offshore Alexandria, the well tested a cumulative 1,850 Mcf/d of gas and 850 b/d of condensate.
