Sweden's Lundin Petroleum said Wednesday that it has found an extension of its first discovery at the Luno field off Norway. It said Well 16/1-13, in Block 16/1, drilled into a 50 meter oil column that provided "excellent reservoir characteristics" that required no production test. Lundin estimates that Luno has probable reserves of 95 million boe (IOD Jul.22,p7).
