CNPC Drills in Iran

China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC) has completed a well in the Masjid-i-Sulaiman oil field in Iran. The Chinese state giant said last week on its website that drilling subsidiary Great Wall Drilling had provided drilling fluids services for the 330CH-11 horizontal well. The second phase of devel- opment is expected to start next year and engineering work will continue to be handled by Great Wall. It has worked on 17 wells in the field so far.
