摘要

India's ONGC Videsh (OVL), the overseas investment arm of state explorer Oil and Natural Gas Corp. (ONGC), is looking for possible partners as it considers three large producing oil fields offered by Iraq in the country's first postwar licensing bid round. OVL, which was among the 35 international companies prequalified by Iraq in February 2008 to participate in the bidding rounds, is talking to two unidentified international oil firms for a possible joint bid, officials close to the negotiations told International Oil Daily in New Delhi on Monday.
