Russian crude oil supplies to Belarus' two refineries may halt later this week after the sides failed to reach an oil supply and transit agreement for 2010. That could potentially prompt Belarus to start taking volumes destined for Europe via the Druzhba pipeline, which supplies about 10% of the European Union's oil needs (IOD Jan.12,p1). Sources at Russian pipeline monopoly Transneft say supplies to the Mozyr refinery could halt Thursday, and to Novopolotsk (Naftan) at the end of the week.
